Role Mandate
This role is designed for a senior-level fintech architect operating at the intersection of large-scale digital payments ecosystems, cross-border transaction orchestration, and next-generation financial infrastructure design. The successful candidate will serve as a remote strategic authority, responsible for conceptualizing, governing, and evolving high-availability payment architectures that interface with banks, digital wallets, card networks, alternative rails, and emerging programmable money frameworks across global markets.
Core Strategic Responsibilities

Architect end-to-end payment ecosystems supporting real-time payments, high-velocity settlement, reconciliation automation, and multi-currency transaction flows

Design scalable, fault-tolerant systems capable of handling enterprise-grade transaction volumes across heterogeneous payment rails

Define architectural standards for API-first financial services, payment orchestration layers, and modular transaction engines

Lead the evolution of payment routing intelligence, risk-aware transaction sequencing, and latency-optimized clearing mechanisms

Oversee integration strategies with global financial institutions, fintech platforms, and regulatory-mandated infrastructures

Establish long-term technology roadmaps aligned with financial modernization, open finance paradigms, and distributed financial infrastructure
Technical & Domain Expertise

Deep mastery of payment gateways, switching platforms, settlement engines, and reconciliation systems

Advanced experience with cloud-native financial architectures, event-driven systems, and high-availability design patterns

Strong understanding of regulatory-driven payment controls, transaction monitoring, and auditability frameworks

Ability to translate complex financial operations into elegant, scalable technical blueprints

Salary Structure (USD – Remote, GCC-Anchored)

Base Annual Salary: USD 155,000 – 190,000
