Role Overview

This role is intended for a senior technical fintech professional responsible for the architecture, analysis, and optimisation of high-performance payment engines and digital ledger systems. Fully remote, aligned with the UAE’s advanced fintech ecosystem, the focus is on system-level correctness, reliability, and scale.

Unlike product-focused or development-centric positions, this role concentrates on engineering precision, platform resilience, and transaction-level integrity.

Core Responsibilities

• Architect high-throughput, low-latency transaction processing systems

• Ensure ledger consistency, reconciliation accuracy, and fault-tolerance

• Analyse platform scalability, latency, and systemic stress responses

• Define operational recovery mechanisms and incident response protocols

• Document technical architecture, controls, and operational standards

• Collaborate conceptually with cross-functional teams on design principles

Technical Domains

• Transaction engines and digital payment flows

• Ledger design, data integrity, and reconciliation

• Distributed system architecture and performance optimisation

• Platform resilience and fault recovery

• Operational risk and controls frameworks

Candidate Requirements

• 12–18 years in fintech infrastructure, digital payments, or platform engineering

• Extensive experience with transaction-heavy, distributed financial systems

• Strong understanding of system performance, resilience, and security trade-offs

• Highly analytical with precise technical documentation skills

• Comfortable working autonomously in a fully remote context
