Role Overview
This role is designed for a senior fintech engineer responsible for designing, optimising, and validating high-throughput payment and ledger systems. Fully remote, it aligns with the UAE’s advanced fintech ecosystem.
The focus is technical excellence, operational integrity, and system resilience, not business or product management.
Core Responsibilities

Architect low-latency, high-throughput transaction processing systems

Ensure ledger consistency, reconciliation accuracy, and fault-tolerant operations

Design incident response, rollback, and operational recovery protocols

Analyse system scalability, latency, and high-availability performance

Produce detailed architecture documentation, technical standards, and operational runbooks

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on engineering principles and system design consistency

Candidate Requirements

Strong analytical and technical documentation skills

Comfortable working fully remotely and independently
