Role Overview
This role is designed for a highly experienced technical professional responsible for designing, building, and optimising transaction-intensive fintech platforms, including ledger systems, reconciliation engines, and real-time payment flows. Fully remote, the role aligns with the UAE’s sophisticated fintech ecosystem.
The focus is technical excellence, reliability, and operational precision, not product management or business development.
Core Responsibilities

Architect transaction processing engines for digital payments, wallets, and clearing systems

Ensure ledger consistency, reconciliation integrity, and fault-tolerant architecture

Evaluate system throughput, latency, and high-availability performance

Design resilience and recovery mechanisms for operational continuity

Produce technical design standards, architecture documentation, and operational runbooks

Collaborate conceptually with product, strategy, and risk teams on architecture

Candidate Requirements

12–18 years in fintech engineering, platform architecture, or financial systems development

Proven experience with transaction-heavy, high-availability financial systems

Expertise in distributed ledger systems, fault-tolerance, and scalability

Strong analytical reasoning and detailed technical documentation skills

Comfortable working autonomously in a remote, global environment
