Role Overview
The Principal Fintech Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, testing, and validating high-performance transaction systems, ledgers, and digital payment engines. Fully remote, the position is aligned with UAE’s fintech ecosystem and focuses on technical precision, operational reliability, and platform resilience.
This role is not focused on product strategy or commercial growth, but on engineering excellence and fault-tolerant systems design.
Core Responsibilities

Architect low-latency, high-throughput payment processing engines

Ensure ledger integrity, transaction reconciliation, and operational fault tolerance

Design incident response protocols, rollback mechanisms, and recovery procedures

Evaluate system performance, stress capacity, and high-availability architecture

Produce detailed technical documentation, architecture specifications, and operational runbooks

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain platform standards and technical consistency

Candidate Profile

12–18 years in fintech infrastructure, transaction systems, or financial platform engineering

Strong analytical, documentation, and systems-design skills

Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
