Role Overview
The rise of super-apps is redefining how users interact with financial services—embedding payments, lending, insurance, and investments into a single digital ecosystem. This role is for a senior architect who can design and orchestrate financial services integration within large-scale super-app environments.
You will build the financial backbone of a multi-service digital ecosystem, ensuring seamless interoperability across services and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect embedded financial services within super-app platforms (payments, lending, insurance, wealth)
- Design integration layers connecting fintech services with non-financial services (e-commerce, mobility, lifestyle)
- Develop API orchestration frameworks enabling third-party participation
- Optimize user journeys for frictionless financial interactions within the super-app
- Ensure scalability to support millions of concurrent users and transactions
- Implement governance frameworks for risk, compliance, and partner management
- Monitor KPIs such as user engagement, transaction volume, and ecosystem growth
Technical Environment
- Architecture: Microservices, API gateways
- Integration: RESTful APIs, event-driven systems
- Data: Real-time analytics platforms
- Infrastructure: Cloud-native environments
- Security: Identity management, encryption
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Finance
- 10+ years in fintech, platform architecture, or digital ecosystems
- Strong understanding of super-app models and embedded finance
- Experience designing large-scale integration architectures
- Ability to align technical systems with business growth strategies
Preferred Expertise
- Experience with multi-sided platform ecosystems
- Knowledge of customer journey optimization in super-apps
- Familiarity with cross-industry integrations
- Strong leadership and system design capabilities
