A rapidly growing fintech enterprise is searching for an accomplished Principal Fintech Solutions Architect to design enterprise-grade financial technology platforms that deliver exceptional scalability, resilience, and security across digital banking and payment ecosystems.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence technology strategy while collaborating with software engineers, cybersecurity specialists, cloud architects, product leaders, and executive management to build globally competitive fintech platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Architecture
- Define enterprise technology architecture for digital financial platforms.
- Design scalable cloud-native fintech solutions.
- Develop API-first integration frameworks for banking and payment services.
- Create technology roadmaps supporting business expansion.
- Ensure architectural alignment with security, scalability, and performance objectives.
Technology Innovation
- Evaluate emerging fintech technologies and architectural patterns.
- Lead proof-of-concept initiatives for innovative digital solutions.
- Guide engineering teams on architecture best practices.
- Improve platform resilience, availability, and operational efficiency.
- Drive modernization of legacy financial systems.
Governance & Leadership
- Establish architecture standards and design governance.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Infrastructure teams.
- Mentor senior engineers and solution designers.
- Present enterprise architecture strategies to executive stakeholders.
Academic & Professional Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Minimum 8 years of software engineering or enterprise architecture experience, including significant exposure to fintech or financial services.
- Proven expertise delivering large-scale cloud-based financial platforms.
