Role Purpose
This role is designed for a senior fintech professional who specializes in architecting financial technology systems that remain structurally sound under regulatory, operational, and market pressure. Rather than interpreting regulation as a constraint, the role treats regulation as an architectural input—something that shapes how digital finance platforms are designed, layered, and governed.
The Principal Fintech Regulatory Architecture Lead will operate at a system-design and framework level, ensuring that fintech platforms are inherently compliant, resilient, and scalable across jurisdictions.
Core Responsibilities

Architect fintech systems where regulatory logic is embedded directly into platform design, not added as an afterthought.

Translate financial regulations, supervisory expectations, and market rules into technical system requirements and controls.

Design governance models covering data lineage, transaction traceability, auditability, and system accountability.

Evaluate fintech architectures for regulatory fragility, control gaps, and long-term sustainability.

Produce high-quality architectural documentation suitable for regulators, auditors, and senior stakeholders.
Required Professional Background

12–18 years of experience across fintech architecture, financial regulation, digital banking systems, or financial infrastructure.

Strong understanding of how payments, digital banking, and platform-based finance operate at a systemic level.

Ability to reason across legal, technical, and financial domains simultaneously.

Exceptional analytical writing and documentation skills.
