Role Overview
This position is engineered for a deeply technical leader responsible for designing high-throughput fintech platforms capable of supporting millions of concurrent financial transactions with near-zero latency.
The architect will own the core systems layer, ensuring that payment processing engines, ledger systems, and financial APIs operate with maximum reliability, scalability, and security.
Core Engineering Domains
1. Core Financial Systems Design

Architect real-time ledger systems ensuring transactional integrity and reconciliation accuracy

Build high-performance payment processing engines supporting multi-channel transactions

Develop event-driven financial architectures using streaming technologies
2. Scalability & Reliability Engineering

Design systems for horizontal scalability across distributed cloud environments

Implement fault-tolerant architectures with automatic failover mechanisms

Optimize system latency and throughput for real-time financial operations
3. API Economy & Platform Integration

Develop open API frameworks enabling third-party integrations

Build developer ecosystems around financial platforms

Ensure compliance with open banking standards and interoperability protocols
4. Infrastructure & DevOps Excellence

Lead deployment of containerized microservices architectures

Implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous platform evolution

Ensure infrastructure observability, logging, and performance monitoring
Technical Stack Expectations

Advanced proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Go, or Scala

10–17 years in software engineering, with strong fintech platform experience
