Role Overview
Modern fintech is powered by infrastructure that must be resilient, scalable, secure, and always available. This role is for a highly technical architect who can design and manage mission-critical cloud environments that support high-volume financial transactions.
You will lead the transformation of infrastructure into a self-healing, automated, and performance-optimized ecosystem.
Core Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy cloud-native infrastructure for fintech platforms
- Design CI/CD pipelines enabling rapid, secure, and reliable deployments
- Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for consistent and scalable environments
- Optimize system performance for low latency and high throughput financial transactions
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities
- Embed security and compliance controls into infrastructure layers
- Monitor systems using observability tools and real-time analytics
Technical Stack
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
- DevOps Tools: Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins
- Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
- Security: IAM, encryption protocols, compliance frameworks
- Architecture: Microservices, serverless computing
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure architecture
- Strong expertise in distributed systems and cloud-native design
- Experience in financial systems or high-transaction environments
- Deep understanding of security and compliance in cloud environments
Preferred Expertise
- Experience with real-time payment systems or trading platforms
- Knowledge of multi-cloud and hybrid architectures
- Familiarity with chaos engineering and resilience testing
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes
