An internationally connected fintech enterprise is seeking a highly experienced Principal FinTech Application Developer to lead the design, engineering, and modernization of sophisticated financial software supporting intelligent banking, digital payments, merchant acquiring, financial analytics, and cloud-native financial ecosystems.
This strategic role combines deep technical expertise with architectural leadership, providing the opportunity to influence enterprise engineering strategy while delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing financial platforms.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and software development for enterprise fintech platforms.
- Develop intelligent payment processing applications.
- Build secure cloud-native financial services.
- Design scalable event-driven microservice ecosystems.
- Develop AI-powered fraud detection capabilities.
- Create enterprise financial reporting and analytics modules.
- Integrate third-party banking and payment APIs.
- Drive software modernization initiatives.
- Establish engineering governance and technical standards.
- Mentor multidisciplinary software engineering teams.
- Collaborate with DevOps, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and product management teams.
Professional Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Systems.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- Expert knowledge of Java, Go, Python, Scala, or C#.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Quarkus, ASP.NET Core, or similar enterprise frameworks.
- Strong expertise with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
- Experience with distributed messaging systems and event-driven architectures.
- Strong understanding of secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC).
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
