Engagement Purpose

This role is structured as a pure strategic advisory appointment, focused on how digital banking models, embedded finance frameworks, and fintech ecosystems should be conceptually designed and governed. The Principal Advisory Lead does not execute products or manage teams; instead, they develop models, frameworks, and strategic logic that inform long-term fintech direction.

The position is fully remote, with conceptual alignment to Oman’s emerging digital finance and ecosystem-based growth agenda.

Advisory Scope

• Design reference models for digital banking platforms, including account structures, product layering, and service modularity.

• Develop embedded finance frameworks enabling non-financial platforms to integrate regulated financial capabilities.

• Conduct deep strategic analysis of global fintech trends, regulatory evolution, and platform-based financial models.

• Author long-form advisory deliverables such as strategy whitepapers, ecosystem blueprints, and future-state financial models.

• Build scenario-planning frameworks addressing market expansion, regulatory divergence, and technological disruption.

• Advise on platform economics, monetization logic, and sustainable fintech growth models.

Engagement Characteristics

• Entirely output-driven and insight-focused.

• Requires independent judgment, intellectual rigor, and minimal oversight.

• Performance assessed by depth, originality, and long-term applicability of advisory outputs.

Candidate Background

• 13–18 years in fintech consulting, digital banking strategy, or financial platform advisory.

• Strong expertise in banking-as-a-service, API-driven ecosystems, and embedded financial products.

• Exceptional analytical writing and strategic reasoning capability.

• Comfortable operating at senior intellectual depth in a remote environment.
