Role Overview
This role targets a senior fintech technologist responsible for designing large-scale financial data platforms and risk analytics systems. The position focuses on architecture, system logic, and long-term scalability, operating above day-to-day engineering execution.
The role is fully remote, with strategic alignment to Qatar’s advanced financial infrastructure and regulatory sophistication.
Architectural Responsibilities

Design enterprise-grade financial data architectures supporting transaction processing and analytics

Define data models for risk monitoring, reporting, and regulatory oversight

Establish integration patterns for internal systems and external data sources

Ensure system designs are scalable, secure, and auditable by default
Risk & Analytics Frameworks

Architect real-time and batch risk analytics platforms

Define anomaly detection and control frameworks
-
Ensure explainability and transparency of risk models

Embed governance, lineage, and quality controls into data pipelines
Design Authority Duties

Act as final authority on architectural decisions

Produce detailed system blueprints and design rationales

Review implementation approaches for alignment with target architecture

Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Candidate Profile

12–17+ years in fintech systems, data architecture, or risk technology

Strong understanding of financial transaction behavior

Experience designing distributed, cloud-native systems

Ability to work independently at senior design level
