Strategic Role Mandate

This role is tailored for a senior fintech architect overseeing design and governance of payments, settlement, and financial platforms across oil & gas supply chains. The mandate ensures real-time, high-volume, multi-currency settlement systems capable of handling upstream production, midstream logistics, and downstream commodity trading with full auditability and regulatory compliance.

This is not a transactional operations role. It is a systemic architecture mandate, embedding resilient, automated, and auditable workflows that govern the complete financial lifecycle in oil & gas operations.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Architect high-throughput, multi-party payment and settlement systems for oil & gas commodity flows.

• Design system-embedded reconciliation logic connecting trading platforms, logistics systems, and corporate finance.

• Define multi-currency and multi-commodity settlement standards ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.

• Integrate real-time monitoring, anomaly detection, and audit capabilities into platform architecture.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure governance, risk, and compliance are embedded into system workflows.

• Produce executive-level documentation including system blueprints, compliance frameworks, and long-term evolution strategies.

• Conduct scenario-based stress testing for liquidity, settlement delays, and extreme market conditions.

Required Expertise & Professional Profile

• Extensive experience in energy sector finance platforms, cross-border settlement systems, or enterprise fintech infrastructure.

• Strong knowledge of commodity trading, regulatory compliance, and high-volume financial operations.

• Proven ability to integrate risk management and regulatory logic into platform-level architecture.

• Ability to operate independently at executive strategic level in remote, high-trust environments.

• Exceptional analytical, documentation, and executive communication skills.

Compensation Structure (Remote – UAE Aligned)

• Base Monthly Compensation: AED 60,000 – AED 82,000

• Annualised Range: AED 720,000 – AED 984,000

• Platform Performance Incentive: Up to 35% annually

• Additional Provisions: Advanced fintech tooling budget, executive research allowance, long-term retention incentives
