Strategic Role Overview
This role is designed for a senior fintech executive specializing in market infrastructure and clearing system architecture. The mandate is to shape and govern next-generation financial market platforms that support transaction clearing, settlement orchestration, and systemic risk management in increasingly digital financial ecosystems.
The Principal Director will operate as a market-level architect, aligning technology, governance, and operational resilience into coherent infrastructure strategies capable of supporting long-term market evolution.
Strategic Responsibilities

Design and oversee digital clearing and settlement platform architectures.

Establish governance frameworks for market integrity, operational resilience, and systemic risk controls.

Define interoperability models between trading platforms, payment systems, and settlement engines.

Advise on market digitization strategies and infrastructure scalability.

Oversee data, reporting, and transparency frameworks supporting supervisory oversight.

Engage senior stakeholders on long-term infrastructure investment and modernization priorities.
Executive Profile

15+ years of experience across market infrastructure, clearing systems, or financial platform leadership.

Deep understanding of settlement mechanics, operational risk, and financial system resilience.

Proven ability to operate within complex regulatory and multi-stakeholder environments.

Strong strategic advisory and executive communication capability.

Advanced academic qualification in finance, economics, or systems engineering.
Compensation Architecture (Indicative – Qatar Market, Remote)

Base Salary: USD 175,000 – 220,000 per annum

Annual Variable Incentive: 20% – 30%
