Primary Market Focus: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (GCC-Wide Remote Engagement)
Role Mandate
This role is designed for a senior-level fintech architect who operates at the intersection of large-scale digital payments ecosystems, national financial infrastructure modernization, and cross-border transaction orchestration. The mandate extends beyond platform delivery into systemic financial design, supporting high-volume transaction environments aligned with Saudi Arabia’s rapidly evolving digital economy and regional payment interoperability ambitions.
The incumbent will remotely lead the conceptualization, design, and optimization of payment rails, encompassing real-time gross settlement interfaces, digital wallet ecosystems, merchant acquiring frameworks, and next-generation settlement architectures.
Strategic Responsibilities

Architect end-to-end digital payments infrastructures capable of processing millions of concurrent transactions with near-zero latency.

Design interoperable frameworks across card networks, instant payment schemes, open banking APIs, and cross-border remittance corridors.

Define payment tokenization, encryption standards, and fraud-resilient transaction flows.

Lead the development of scalable merchant and enterprise payment orchestration layers.

Translate regulatory and monetary authority requirements into technically enforceable system controls.

Act as a strategic authority on payments modernization, liquidity flows, and digital settlement innovation.
Technical & Domain Expertise

Deep expertise in payment gateways, ISO 8583, ISO 20022, real-time payments, and clearing systems.

Advanced knowledge of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and financial message orchestration.

Strong understanding of tokenized payments, digital identity frameworks, and transaction risk engines.

Proven experience designing systems for bank-grade resilience and regulatory auditability.
Salary Structure (Indicative – Remote, Saudi-Focused)

Base Monthly Compensation: SAR 38,000 – SAR 55,000

Performance-Linked Variable Pay: SAR 120,000 – SAR 220,000 annually
