Role Mandate & Strategic Purpose
This role is designed for a senior-most fintech architect tasked with shaping next-generation digital payments ecosystems at national and cross-border scale. The position operates at the intersection of payment orchestration, real-time settlement infrastructure, open banking connectivity, and large-volume transaction resilience.
The successful candidate will function as a systemic designer of financial infrastructure, not merely a product leader—owning architectural decisions that influence economic throughput, financial inclusion velocity, and platform-level interoperability across the Kingdom’s rapidly expanding digital economy.
Core Responsibilities

Architect and evolve large-scale digital payments frameworks, including:

Real-time payments rails

Tokenized payment instruments
-
API-driven merchant acquiring platforms

Multi-currency clearing and settlement models

Define end-to-end payments infrastructure blueprints, covering:

Message standards (ISO 20022 and advanced derivatives)

High-availability transaction routing
-
Latency-optimized reconciliation engines
-

Lead the design of interoperable fintech platforms capable of integrating banks, non-bank financial institutions, PSPs, and embedded finance providers

Establish transaction risk, fraud intelligence, and anomaly-detection architectures using AI-assisted rule engines

Translate regulatory frameworks into scalable, auditable technical controls without compromising throughput or user experience

Serve as a strategic interface between:

Technology vendors and protocol partners

Advanced Technical Competencies

Deep expertise in:

Digital payments architecture

High-volume transaction processing

Salary & Executive Compensation Structure (Saudi Arabia)

Base Annual Salary: SAR 780,000 – SAR 1,050,000
