A globally recognized fintech institution is seeking a highly accomplished Principal – DevOps Engineering to lead the design, automation, and optimization of enterprise cloud infrastructure supporting digital banking, payment platforms, AI-powered financial services, blockchain ecosystems, and mission-critical financial applications.
This leadership role offers the opportunity to architect highly resilient cloud environments capable of supporting millions of secure financial transactions while accelerating software delivery through automation, observability, and modern DevSecOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Define enterprise DevOps strategy and cloud engineering standards.
- Design highly available cloud-native infrastructure supporting fintech applications.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for enterprise software delivery.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Optimize Kubernetes clusters, container platforms, and orchestration services.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers, Architects, Cybersecurity Specialists, QA Engineers, and Product teams.
- Implement observability solutions covering monitoring, logging, tracing, and performance analytics.
- Lead platform resilience, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.
- Strengthen DevSecOps integration by embedding security throughout development pipelines.
- Mentor engineering teams while promoting automation, operational excellence, and continuous innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, or a related discipline.
- Extensive DevOps leadership experience within fintech, banking, or enterprise technology environments.
- Expertise in AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, and monitoring platforms.
- Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, cloud networking, and security automation.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and strategic technical planning skills.
