A rapidly growing financial technology organization is seeking a visionary Principal Cloud Banking Developer to design and deliver secure, cloud-native banking platforms supporting digital account services, lending, treasury management, payment ecosystems, and intelligent financial automation.
This role combines deep software engineering expertise with cloud architecture leadership to build highly available financial platforms that meet the demands of modern digital banking.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop cloud-native banking applications.
- Design scalable financial microservices.
- Build secure API-first banking platforms.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions.
- Engineer automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Optimize application scalability and resilience.
- Integrate cloud security best practices.
- Collaborate with DevSecOps and infrastructure teams.
- Lead cloud architecture reviews.
- Mentor developers while establishing engineering standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Cloud Computing.
- 7+ years of enterprise software engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in Go, Java, or Python.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with Terraform and GitOps workflows.
- Familiarity with financial software architecture.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
