Strategic Role Overview
A sophisticated fintech institution in Doha is seeking a highly experienced Principal Business Development Manager – Strategic Alliances, Fintech Ecosystem Expansion & Institutional Partnerships to lead the development of high-value partnerships across financial institutions, government-linked entities, and enterprise ecosystems.
This role is focused on building deep, long-term strategic alliances that shape the fintech landscape—expanding market reach, enabling institutional collaboration, and driving large-scale financial ecosystem integration.
You will be responsible for structuring complex partnerships that involve multiple stakeholders, regulatory considerations, and long-term commercial value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic partnership development across banks, financial institutions, and enterprise ecosystems
- Identify and execute high-value alliances that expand fintech product reach and market penetration
- Structure complex commercial agreements including revenue sharing, joint ventures, and integration partnerships
- Drive ecosystem expansion through institutional and enterprise-level collaborations
- Collaborate with product, legal, and compliance teams to align partnerships with regulatory frameworks
- Develop long-term strategic growth plans for fintech ecosystem expansion
- Conduct market analysis to identify institutional partnership opportunities
- Manage executive-level relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Monitor partnership performance, revenue contribution, and strategic impact
- Support integration of fintech solutions into partner ecosystems
- Ensure compliance with Qatar financial regulations and international standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or enterprise sales
- Strong experience in fintech, banking, or financial services industry
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder partnerships
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen
- Experience working in regulated financial environments
- GCC market experience strongly preferred

- Experience with institutional partnerships or government-linked projects
- Knowledge of fintech ecosystems and digital financial infrastructure
- Exposure to cross-border financial services and enterprise integrations
