An innovative fintech organization is seeking an experienced Principal Blockchain Security Engineer to protect mission-critical blockchain infrastructure and digital financial platforms from evolving cyber threats.
You will design advanced security architectures, conduct smart contract assessments, strengthen cryptographic controls, and ensure the integrity of distributed financial systems used across international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Design secure blockchain architectures and decentralized financial infrastructures.
- Perform smart contract security reviews and vulnerability assessments.
- Implement enterprise cryptographic standards and key management solutions.
- Develop security automation and continuous monitoring capabilities.
- Strengthen identity management and secure access controls.
- Collaborate with DevSecOps and cloud engineering teams.
- Conduct penetration testing and incident response exercises.
- Mentor engineering teams on blockchain security best practices.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies.
- Research emerging threats affecting distributed ledger technologies.
Professional Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of software engineering or cybersecurity experience.
- Expertise in blockchain security, Solidity, Rust, Go, or Python.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud platforms, and secure software development.
- Strong understanding of cryptography, distributed systems, and API security.
