Role Purpose
We are looking for an experienced Principal to provide advanced analytical and risk expertise across blockchain-enabled financial ecosystems. The role focuses on understanding transaction behaviour, identifying emerging risk patterns and strengthening analytical capabilities surrounding digital-asset activity.
The position combines financial risk intelligence, blockchain analytics, data science, transaction monitoring and technology governance, making it particularly suited to a professional who can operate comfortably between quantitative analysis and strategic risk management.
Principal Responsibilities

Develop sophisticated analytical frameworks for monitoring digital-asset transaction activity.

Analyse blockchain transaction patterns, wallet behaviours and financial flows.

Identify anomalous transaction behaviour and emerging risk indicators.

Develop quantitative approaches to digital-asset risk assessment.

Collaborate with technology teams to improve transaction-monitoring capabilities.

Translate blockchain data into actionable business and risk intelligence.

Design analytical methodologies for customer, wallet and transaction risk profiling.

Support the development of automated risk-detection models.

Evaluate emerging blockchain technologies and their potential operational implications.

Produce high-quality analytical reports for senior stakeholders.

Establish risk metrics, dashboards and performance indicators.

Work with data scientists and engineers to improve analytical models.

Investigate complex transaction patterns and develop evidence-based recommendations.

Contribute to the continuous enhancement of digital-finance risk architecture.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Cybersecurity or a related discipline.

7+ years of experience in financial risk, fintech, blockchain analytics, transaction monitoring, data analytics or financial technology.

Strong understanding of blockchain architecture and distributed-ledger technology.

Experience analysing large-scale financial transaction datasets.

Knowledge of statistical analysis, risk modelling and anomaly detection.

Familiarity with Python, SQL, data visualization or comparable analytical technologies.

Strong understanding of financial services risk environments.

Exceptional investigative and problem-solving abilities.
