About the Opportunity
An innovative financial technology programme is expanding its digital asset capabilities and seeks an exceptional Principal – Blockchain Financial Infrastructure to design resilient distributed financial systems supporting institutional finance, programmable payments, and tokenized financial services.
This position offers the opportunity to influence the future of decentralized financial infrastructure while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams responsible for cybersecurity, financial engineering, compliance technologies, and enterprise software architecture.
Primary Responsibilities
Blockchain Architecture
- Design enterprise-grade blockchain ecosystems.
- Develop secure smart contract frameworks.
- Build scalable digital asset infrastructure.
- Optimize distributed ledger performance.
Financial Innovation
- Develop programmable payment solutions.
- Support tokenized asset initiatives.
- Design blockchain interoperability solutions.
- Enhance institutional custody frameworks.
Technology Leadership
- Establish engineering standards.
- Lead architecture review boards.
- Guide technical decision-making.
- Mentor senior engineering teams.
Risk & Governance
- Strengthen blockchain security controls.
- Conduct architecture risk assessments.
- Ensure infrastructure resilience.
- Support enterprise compliance initiatives.
Required Experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 10+ years in enterprise software engineering.
- 5+ years in blockchain technology implementation.
- Experience with Ethereum, Hyperledger, Solidity, Rust, or Go.
- Strong understanding of cryptography and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of cloud-native infrastructure and DevSecOps.
