Role Summary

The Remote Principal Blockchain & Digital Asset Infrastructure Architect will lead the design and governance of institution-grade blockchain systems, tokenization frameworks, digital-asset security models, and cross-chain interoperability protocols, all aligned with Kuwait’s fast-emerging digital-asset ambitions. This role demands a deep, systemic understanding of distributed ledgers, smart-contract governance, cryptographic architecture, and multi-chain financial orchestration.

Core Responsibilities

Blockchain Systems Engineering

• Architect enterprise-level blockchain platforms supporting high-throughput value transfer, smart-contract automation, and multi-chain asset bridges.

• Build tokenization frameworks enabling real-world assets, financial instruments, and next-generation digital value units.

• Engineer secure cross-chain interoperability mechanisms, consensus optimization frameworks, and cryptographic trust layers.

Digital-Asset Governance & Security

• Establish standards for digital-asset controls, wallet security, decentralized trust anchors, and institutional custody mechanisms.

• Implement advanced zero-knowledge proof structures, key-management systems, and multi-layer settlement security protocols.

Regulatory Alignment (Kuwait Fintech Environment)

• Interpret Kuwait’s evolving digital-asset oversight, virtual-asset risk controls, AML requirements, reporting obligations, and token-governance expectations.

• Embed compliance-by-design principles into all smart-contract and blockchain infrastructure layers.

Innovation & Ecosystem Expansion

• Evaluate emerging token-economic models, Layer-2 scalability solutions, and institutional DeFi applications.

• Lead R&D initiatives driving the adoption of blockchain infrastructure into broader financial ecosystems across the GCC.

Required Expertise

• 10+ years in blockchain engineering, digital-asset infrastructure, DLT systems architecture, or protocol-level development.

• Advanced command of smart-contract governance, cryptography, Layer-1 and Layer-2 systems, tokenization frameworks, and security engineering.

• Deep understanding of regulatory adaptation for digital assets within GCC markets.

• Technical mastery in decentralized architectures, multi-chain systems, and cryptographic security.
