Role Overview

The Principal Blockchain & Digital Asset Infrastructure Architect will lead the architectural design, deployment strategy, and operational governance of advanced blockchain systems supporting large-scale digital asset initiatives in Oman. This role requires mastery of distributed systems, smart contract ecosystems, cryptographic security, node architecture, and ledger interoperability.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect infrastructure for blockchain networks, validators, consensus protocols, and cryptographic key-management systems.

• Design multi-layer digital asset frameworks enabling secure issuance, settlement, and off-chain/on-chain orchestration.

• Oversee smart contract development standards, lifecycle governance, and audit readiness.

• Collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity teams to implement zero-trust security models and resilient network topologies.

• Lead research initiatives on cross-chain interoperability, digital-identity frameworks, and next-generation Web3 infrastructure.

• Produce high-level architectural blueprints, risk assessments, and performance-scaling plans.

• Provide strategic technical guidance for long-term blockchain roadmap alignment within the GCC fintech innovation ecosystem.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or similar.

• 8+ years of experience in blockchain architecture, digital asset systems, or distributed infrastructure.

• Expertise with EVM or non-EVM chains, consensus design, smart contract frameworks, and cryptographic algorithms.

• Experience building secure and scalable node environments using cloud-native infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with emerging Web3 protocols, L2 rollups, or enterprise blockchain solutions.

• Experience in on-chain analytics or blockchain security operations.

• Background in formal verification or protocol-level engineering.
