Strategic Role Charter

This role is designed as a cross-border financial infrastructure authority, responsible for architecting payment corridors, foreign-exchange intelligence layers, and settlement optimization systems that enable frictionless international value movement.

The mandate is to engineer payments and FX as a unified, intelligent system, where routing, pricing, liquidity allocation, and settlement certainty are optimized continuously in real time. The role aligns with Oman’s growing relevance as a regional connector between markets and currencies.


Strategic Responsibilities & Systemic Scope

  • Architect cross-border payment platforms supporting multi-currency flows and corridor optimization.

  • Design FX pricing and liquidity intelligence engines embedded directly into transaction execution.

  • Establish settlement optimization frameworks minimizing exposure, latency, and capital lock-up.

  • Implement routing intelligence that dynamically selects optimal rails and counterparties.

  • Engineer reconciliation, exception management, and observability layers across borders.

  • Define scalability and resilience standards for international transaction volumes.

  • Act as final authority on cross-border transaction certainty and FX system robustness.


Executive Profile Requirements

  • 14+ years in payments, FX systems, or international financial infrastructure.

  • Deep expertise in cross-border settlement mechanics and multi-currency platforms.

  • Proven experience with high-throughput, low-latency transaction systems.

  • Strong understanding of liquidity risk and operational exposure management.

  • International market-infrastructure exposure strongly preferred.


Remote Compensation Structure (Oman Benchmark)

  • Base Annual Compensation: OMR 100,000 – OMR 125,000

  • Transaction Efficiency & FX Performance Bonus: OMR 22,000 – OMR 38,000

  • Long-Term Corridor Value Incentive: OMR 28,000 – OMR 50,000

  • Total Annual Compensation Envelope: OMR 150,000 – OMR 213,000


Engagement Model

  • Fully remote with corridor-wide architectural authority

  • Ownership of cross-border payments and FX intelligence

  • Long-term infrastructure development mandate
