Role Vision
This role exists to conceptualize and architect scalable digital finance platforms that integrate transaction processing, financial data, and analytics into cohesive systems. The position is fully remote, aligned with Bahrain’s advanced fintech ecosystem and emphasis on platform-driven financial innovation.
The role sits above day-to-day coding, acting as design authority and technical strategist.
Platform Responsibilities

Define reference architectures for digital finance platforms.

Design data models supporting transaction processing, analytics, and reporting.

Establish integration patterns for APIs, external data feeds, and financial networks.

Ensure platform designs are scalable, secure, and auditable by default.
Technical Leadership Duties

Translate product requirements into system-level architecture.

Define technology standards and architectural decision records.

Oversee data governance, lineage, and quality frameworks.

Guide engineering teams through complex design trade-offs.

Communicate architectural intent to non-technical stakeholders.
Professional Requirements

12–16+ years in fintech engineering, platform architecture, or financial systems design.

Strong understanding of transaction lifecycles and financial data behavior.

Experience designing distributed, cloud-native financial platforms.

Ability to operate independently in a senior, design-centric role.
