Strategic Context

Arcades have evolved from coin-operated machines into digitally orchestrated entertainment ecosystems, where every interaction—every play, reward, and upgrade—is a financial event.

This role exists at the intersection of real-time payments engineering, gaming infrastructure, and behavioral monetization systems, tasked with building the transactional backbone of high-volume arcade environments.

Role Mandate

To architect and scale next-generation microtransaction systems powering:

• Tap-to-play digital arcade access
• Tokenized credit systems replacing physical coins
• Real-time reward distribution and redemption engines
• Cross-platform payment interoperability (mobile, kiosks, wearables)

Core Responsibilities

1. High-Frequency Microtransaction Infrastructure

• Design systems capable of handling thousands of micro-payments per minute with near-zero latency
• Build event-driven architectures enabling instant play authorization and balance updates
• Ensure seamless synchronization across physical arcade machines and digital platforms

2. Digital Wallet & Credit Systems

• Develop closed-loop wallet ecosystems for arcade users
• Implement stored-value systems, bonus credits, and promotional balances
• Architect secure APIs for wallet top-ups, refunds, and reward redemption

3. Hardware–Software Financial Integration

• Integrate payment systems with arcade hardware interfaces (NFC, QR, RFID)
• Enable frictionless transitions between physical gameplay and digital financial systems
• Collaborate with hardware vendors to standardize financial communication protocols

4. Security, Fraud Prevention & Compliance

• Design anti-fraud systems detecting abnormal play and transaction patterns
• Implement secure authentication for high-value transactions
• Align systems with UAE digital payments regulations and consumer protection frameworks

Candidate Profile

• 10+ years in fintech payments, embedded systems, or gaming infrastructure
• Strong experience in real-time transaction processing and distributed systems
• Familiarity with IoT integrations and hardware-linked financial systems
• Proficiency in Go, Java, or Rust-based backend architectures
