Role Overview
An innovative financial technology programme is seeking a highly skilled Principal AI Infrastructure & Platform Engineer to design and manage secure, scalable infrastructure supporting artificial intelligence workloads within enterprise financial environments.
This position plays a pivotal role in enabling high-performance AI platforms that enhance fraud detection, customer intelligence, operational automation, predictive analytics, and enterprise decision-making.
Primary Responsibilities
AI Infrastructure
- Design scalable AI computing environments.
- Optimize enterprise cloud infrastructure.
- Deploy high-performance machine learning platforms.
- Improve AI model lifecycle management.
Platform Engineering
- Develop resilient cloud-native architecture.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning.
- Improve system reliability and observability.
- Manage enterprise container platforms.
Engineering Leadership
- Mentor senior engineering teams.
- Define platform engineering standards.
- Lead enterprise modernization programmes.
- Collaborate with software, security, and data engineering teams.
Security & Reliability
- Strengthen infrastructure security.
- Implement Zero Trust architecture.
- Enhance disaster recovery capabilities.
- Maintain enterprise compliance standards.
Professional Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 10β15 years of enterprise engineering experience.
- Strong background in cloud infrastructure and AI platform deployment.
- Proven leadership of large-scale engineering initiatives.
- Excellent architectural and analytical skills.
