Role Overview

This role leads the design and advancement of Oman’s AI-driven financial risk and intelligence ecosystems. The Principal Lead is responsible for developing high-performance analytical models, next-generation fraud-detection engines, data integration frameworks, and risk-governance systems that support financial sector modernization and enhanced market resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect AI-based risk analytics engines incorporating behavior modeling, anomaly detection, financial pattern recognition, and predictive risk scoring.

• Build secure multi-layered financial data integration pipelines supporting real-time insights, regulatory reporting, and high-volume data orchestration.

• Design enterprise-grade risk governance frameworks aligned with Omani regulatory directives, data protection mandates, and industry-leading cybersecurity standards.

• Lead development of federated learning architectures enabling secure data collaboration across institutions while preserving privacy.

• Implement long-horizon risk simulation models for stress-testing, liquidity prediction, and macro-level financial scenario planning.

• Oversee cloud-native deployment of high-scale data systems with emphasis on resilience, low-latency performance, and secure multi-tenancy.

Qualifications

• 10–14+ years in AI/ML systems, financial analytics, risk engineering, or advanced fintech data architecture.

• Expert proficiency in high-performance data systems, predictive modeling, intelligent fraud systems, and financial risk analytics.

• Solid background in data governance, cybersecurity controls, and regulatory technologies.

• Master’s or PhD in Data Science, AI Engineering, Financial Analytics, or a closely related field preferred.
