The Mandate
We are seeking an accomplished Orchestrator to shape the architecture and commercial coordination of cross-border payment ecosystems connecting financial institutions, fintech platforms, merchants and digital businesses across international markets.
This is a high-impact role for a professional who understands that modern payments are not simply transactions—they are interconnected financial networks requiring intelligent routing, liquidity coordination, operational resilience and seamless interoperability.
Strategic Responsibilities

Develop frameworks for cross-border payment connectivity and transaction orchestration.

Coordinate payment flows across banks, fintech platforms, processors and financial networks.

Identify opportunities to improve transaction speed, reliability and cost efficiency.

Design strategies for multi-market payment expansion.

Analyse payment-routing performance and identify optimization opportunities.

Establish operating models for international payment corridors.
-
Work with technology teams on API connectivity and payment-platform integrations.

Develop partner strategies involving financial institutions and payment infrastructure providers.

Monitor transaction performance, settlement efficiency and operational exceptions.

Establish KPIs covering authorization, processing speed, settlement and transaction success.

Support new-market launches and international payment initiatives.

Assess emerging payment technologies and their commercial applicability.

Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across product, technology, finance and operations.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Technology or a related discipline.

8+ years of experience in payments, fintech, banking infrastructure or financial technology.

Strong understanding of international payment flows and settlement processes.

Experience with payment APIs, gateways, processors and financial integrations.

Strong commercial and analytical capabilities.

Proven ability to coordinate complex multi-stakeholder programmes.

Excellent executive communication and negotiation skills.
