Memorandum Context
The acceleration of open banking across the GCC has introduced a complex environment where financial institutions, fintech platforms, and third-party providers must interconnect securely and efficiently. This role operates as a specialist advisor, guiding the design and execution of open banking integrations.
Advisory Objective
To ensure that open banking frameworks are implemented with technical precision, regulatory alignment, and strategic scalability, enabling seamless data exchange and financial service innovation.
Scope of Advisory Responsibilities
- Assess existing financial systems and identify integration opportunities
- Design secure API-based connectivity between banks and fintech platforms
- Advise on authentication protocols, consent management, and data-sharing policies
- Ensure compliance with open banking regulatory standards in the GCC
- Provide technical guidance on system interoperability and scalability
- Evaluate integration performance and recommend optimizations

• API Connectivity & Standards
Develop robust API structures that enable secure, efficient, and standardized data exchange.
• Security & Consent Architecture
Implement strong authentication mechanisms and ensure user data privacy and consent compliance.

- 6–10 years in fintech integration, banking technology, or financial consulting
- Experience working on API-driven financial systems
- Strong advisory, analytical, and technical communication skills
