Role Overview
With the rapid adoption of open banking frameworks across Bahrain, there is a growing need for professionals who can coordinate the implementation of API-driven financial services. This role focuses on managing the rollout of open banking integrations between financial institutions and third-party providers.
You will operate at the intersection of technology, compliance, and financial services, ensuring that integrations are executed smoothly and aligned with regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation Coordination
You will oversee the end-to-end implementation process for open banking integrations:
- Coordinate onboarding of third-party providers
- Track integration timelines and deliverables
- Ensure readiness across technical and operational teams
API & Technical Oversight
While not a purely engineering role, you will:
- Work closely with developers on API integration workflows
- Monitor API performance and usage
- Ensure secure data exchange between systems
Stakeholder Management
You will act as a central point of coordination:
- Liaise between financial institutions, developers, and compliance teams
- Facilitate communication across distributed teams
- Ensure alignment on project objectives
Regulatory Awareness
- Ensure compliance with Bahrain’s open banking standards
- Support documentation and audit readiness
- Monitor regulatory updates impacting integrations
Required Profile
- 3–6 years of experience in fintech, banking technology, or project coordination
- Understanding of APIs and digital financial services
- Strong organizational and communication skills
