Role Overview
A high-growth fintech initiative in Riyadh is hiring a creative and strategic Lead UI/UX Designer – Fintech Platforms, Merchant Experience & Financial Product Design to lead the design of merchant-facing platforms and customer financial products.
This role focuses on building powerful yet simple design experiences for merchants and businesses—enabling them to accept payments, manage transactions, track performance, and access financial services with ease.
You will be responsible for shaping the entire user experience across merchant onboarding, payment processing, dashboards, reporting tools, and financial services interfaces.
This is a leadership role requiring both design excellence and the ability to guide teams toward delivering impactful, scalable design solutions.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead UX/UI design across merchant platforms, payment systems, and financial dashboards
- Design intuitive workflows for merchant onboarding, transaction management, settlements, and reporting
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs aligned with business and user needs
- Develop and enforce design systems, UI standards, and interaction guidelines
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless implementation
- Optimize user journeys to improve efficiency, usability, and customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with Saudi financial regulations and security requirements
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to building a strong design culture
- Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and user feedback
Required Candidate Profile
- Degree in Design, HCI, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in fintech or digital platforms
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex product design solutions
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools
- Deep understanding of UX principles and user-centered design
- Experience with design systems and scalable UI frameworks
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Familiarity with payment systems and merchant platforms preferred
Preferred Skills
- Experience with data visualization and dashboard design
- Knowledge of design for enterprise or B2B platforms
- Exposure to analytics tools and A/B testing
- Familiarity with mobile and responsive design best practices
