About the Role
An innovative fintech banking institution is seeking an exceptional Lead Mobile Banking Developer to spearhead the development of next-generation mobile financial applications used by retail, corporate, and wealth management customers.
This strategic engineering role focuses on delivering secure, intuitive, and high-performance mobile banking experiences that support digital payments, account management, lending services, investment products, personal finance management, biometric authentication, and AI-powered financial insights.
The successful candidate will collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, cybersecurity specialists, cloud architects, product managers, data analysts, and executive leadership to create world-class mobile banking solutions that drive customer engagement and digital adoption across regional and international markets.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of enterprise mobile banking applications for iOS and Android.

Build secure and scalable mobile features supporting payments, transfers, investments, and digital onboarding.

Integrate mobile applications with banking APIs, payment gateways, and cloud services.

Implement biometric authentication, push notifications, and advanced security controls.

Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and user experience.

Collaborate with UX/UI teams to deliver intuitive customer journeys.

Participate in Agile development, sprint planning, and release management activities.

Conduct code reviews and mentor mobile development teams.

Ensure compliance with secure mobile development standards and financial regulations.

Monitor production performance and resolve complex technical issues.

Contribute to mobile architecture decisions and technology roadmap planning.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

Master’s degree is an advantage.

Minimum 7–10 years of mobile application development experience.

Proven expertise in fintech, banking, digital payments, or financial application development.

Strong understanding of secure mobile development practices and cloud-integrated architectures.

Experience leading mobile engineering teams in Agile environments.
