Role Overview

A high-growth fintech platform focused on merchant enablement and intelligent payment ecosystems is seeking a Lead Frontend Engineer to design and deliver next-generation interfaces that power business-critical financial operations.

The organization is building a comprehensive merchant platform that integrates payments, invoicing, analytics, and financial tools into a unified digital environment. The frontend layer is central to this vision—serving as the operational cockpit for businesses managing revenue, transactions, and financial performance in real time.

This role requires a frontend engineer who understands both technical scalability and business usability, capable of translating complex financial workflows into seamless and efficient user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Merchant Platform Development

• Build scalable frontend systems for merchant dashboards and financial tools.
• Develop interfaces for transaction management, reporting, and analytics.
• Engineer payment workflows supporting high transaction volumes.
• Create intuitive UI patterns for financial operations and business insights.
• Design systems that support multi-tenant merchant environments.

Embedded Finance Integration

• Develop frontend components for embedded financial services.
• Integrate payment APIs and financial services into merchant workflows.
• Build interfaces for lending, payouts, and reconciliation systems.
• Optimize user flows for efficiency and clarity.
• Ensure seamless interaction between financial modules.

Frontend Architecture & Performance

• Lead the design of scalable frontend architectures.
• Optimize application performance under high concurrency.
• Implement reusable component libraries.
• Ensure maintainability and extensibility of codebases.
• Collaborate with backend teams on API efficiency.

Security & Reliability

• Implement secure frontend patterns for financial transactions.
• Ensure data integrity and privacy in user interactions.
• Support compliance-driven UI requirements.
• Maintain reliability during peak transaction periods.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of frontend development experience.
• Strong expertise in building complex web applications.
• Experience with financial or SaaS platforms is advantageous.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
