Position Summary

A fast-scaling fintech ecosystem focused on embedded finance and merchant enablement platforms is seeking a Lead Frontend Engineer to build highly scalable, merchant-facing financial interfaces that power digital commerce across the Gulf region.

The organization is developing platforms that allow businesses to seamlessly integrate financial services—payments, lending, invoicing, and analytics—directly into their operational workflows. The frontend layer is critical, serving as the control center for merchants managing financial operations in real time.

Core Responsibilities

Merchant Platform Frontend Development

• Build robust frontend systems supporting merchant dashboards and financial tools.
• Develop interfaces for payment management, invoicing, and transaction tracking.
• Engineer intuitive workflows for financial operations such as settlements and reporting.
• Design scalable UI systems supporting diverse merchant use cases.
• Optimize frontend systems for reliability in daily business operations.

Embedded Finance Experience Engineering

• Develop seamless financial integrations within merchant workflows.
• Build UI components for lending, payouts, and financial analytics features.
• Engineer onboarding systems tailored for business users.
• Simplify complex financial processes through intuitive interface design.
• Enhance user engagement through responsive and efficient UI interactions.

Scalability & System Design

• Architect frontend systems capable of scaling across thousands of merchants.
• Implement reusable component libraries and design systems.
• Optimize frontend performance for high concurrency usage patterns.
• Collaborate with backend teams to ensure efficient API consumption.
• Support multi-device responsiveness across desktop and mobile platforms.

Security & Compliance

• Implement secure financial interaction patterns for business users.
• Ensure data privacy and protection within frontend systems.
• Support compliance-driven UI requirements for financial reporting.
• Collaborate with risk teams on secure transaction workflows.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of frontend engineering experience.
• Strong experience building scalable web applications.
• Familiarity with financial or SaaS platforms is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving and product-thinking mindset.
