Role Overview
This role is designed for a deeply technical fintech systems expert responsible for architecting, analysing, and optimising transaction platforms and data-driven financial systems. The position is fully remote and aligned with Kuwait’s growing fintech landscape.
The focus is on how fintech systems are engineered, tested, stabilised, and scaled to support high-volume, high-reliability financial operations.
Key Engineering Responsibilities

Design and refine transaction processing architectures for digital finance platforms

Ensure end-to-end data integrity across payment and ledger systems

Analyse system performance, throughput, and failure tolerance

Define resilience mechanisms for transaction continuity and fault recovery

Establish technical documentation and system design standards

Collaborate conceptually with product and operational stakeholders

High-availability fintech platforms

Data consistency, auditability, and system observability

Platform scalability and load management

Candidate Requirements

10–15 years in fintech engineering, financial systems development, or platform architecture

Strong command of transaction-heavy system design

Experience working with payment engines, ledgers, or real-time financial platforms

High technical discipline and documentation rigor

Ability to operate autonomously in distributed teams
