Overview:
A highly technical leadership opportunity focusing on the design, architecture, and deployment of advanced fintech infrastructure for digital payments, open banking, and API-based financial ecosystems. This role demands a combination of deep engineering knowledge, fintech domain expertise, and the ability to conceptualize future-ready financial platforms in a fast-evolving GCC regulatory environment.
Core Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end architecture of digital payment solutions, open banking platforms, and embedded finance ecosystems.

Define system frameworks, API integrations, and microservices architecture for large-scale financial applications.

Collaborate with data engineering and AI teams to develop predictive analytics, risk scoring, and fraud detection models.

Conduct performance assessments, scalability planning, and disaster recovery simulations for mission-critical fintech infrastructure.

Translate business requirements into technically robust solutions with security, compliance, and interoperability at the forefront.

Serve as a subject matter expert on regional and international fintech compliance frameworks.
Requirements:

10+ years of experience in fintech architecture, cloud-based banking systems, or digital payment platforms.

Expertise in modern software stacks, including cloud-native solutions, microservices, APIs, and containerization.

Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory requirements in Qatar and GCC markets.

Proven ability to lead technical teams remotely, mentor engineers, and manage complex multi-platform projects.

Advanced certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent are highly desirable.
