Role Overview

This security-first engineering leadership position reinforces identity assurance, transaction integrity, behavioral biometrics, and risk-adaptive authentication layers across Kuwait’s emerging fintech ecosystem. The candidate will architect cryptographic control surfaces, embed identity orchestration, and reinforce zero-trust postures while facilitating seamless KYC flows.

Strategic Objectives

• Design zero-trust security models integrating micro-segmentation, policy decision points (PDP), and policy enforcement layers (PEP).

• Implement identity orchestration leveraging device fingerprinting, geospatial heuristics, and continuous authentication signals.

• Deploy transactional fraud detection engines using gradient-boosted anomaly vectors and session-level behavioral telemetry.

• Construct identity-governance blueprints mapping privilege escalation exposure and JIT entitlement provisioning.

• Apply authenticated encryption modes (AEAD) for transaction payload confidentiality and tamper-evidence.

Core Technical Domains

• Advanced MFA policies, WebAuthn/FIDO2 integration, and risk-adaptive policy triggers.

• Public-Key Infrastructure integration with short-lived certificates and hardware enclaves.

• Threat modeling via MITRE ATT&CK, D3FEND, kill chain mapping, and control surface instrumentation.

Regulatory & Operational Considerations

• Interpret identity assurance regulations within Kuwait’s digital banking transformation frameworks.

• Govern audit-ready logging, lineage, and forensics orchestration.

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years in fintech security engineering or identity orchestration platforms.

• Deep exposure to cloud-native security patterns and encrypted secret distribution.
