A sophisticated financial technology environment in Bahrain is searching for a Lead Fintech Infrastructure Reliability & Payment Systems Performance Manager to oversee enterprise transaction reliability ecosystems, payment infrastructure optimization programs, and operational resilience strategies supporting mission-critical financial platforms.
This opportunity is intended for highly experienced fintech infrastructure and operational engineering professionals capable of managing enterprise payment ecosystems, cloud-native transaction platforms, and large-scale digital banking operational environments.
The selected candidate will contribute directly to strengthening enterprise financial infrastructure resilience through advanced performance engineering, intelligent operational monitoring systems, automated reliability frameworks, and scalable payment ecosystem modernization initiatives.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise infrastructure reliability initiatives involving payment performance optimization, operational monitoring systems, and transaction continuity ecosystems.
- Design scalable infrastructure frameworks supporting high-volume payment processing, API banking services, and enterprise financial operations.
- Collaborate with cloud engineers, fintech developers, cybersecurity specialists, and payment operations teams to strengthen enterprise transaction infrastructures.
- Oversee operational performance engineering involving latency optimization, transaction routing efficiency, and digital payment scalability.
- Develop governance standards supporting operational resilience, infrastructure continuity, and enterprise financial service reliability.
- Conduct enterprise infrastructure assessments focused on transaction performance, cloud operational efficiency, and payment ecosystem scalability.
- Support fintech modernization projects involving distributed financial systems, intelligent monitoring technologies, and automated operational analytics frameworks.
- Develop executive technical dashboards covering infrastructure health metrics, transaction throughput analytics, and operational reliability indicators.
- Coordinate with banking institutions, payment processors, and financial ecosystem partners regarding infrastructure modernization strategies.
- Monitor emerging technologies involving AI-driven infrastructure automation, predictive operational monitoring, and intelligent payment reliability systems.
- Mentor engineering and operational teams while promoting enterprise infrastructure excellence and fintech reliability best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, or related disciplines.
- 7–12 years of experience in fintech infrastructure management, payment systems engineering, cloud operations, or enterprise financial technology environments.
- Strong expertise in distributed systems, cloud-native infrastructures, payment operational ecosystems, and infrastructure monitoring technologies.
- Experience supporting digital banking systems, transaction processing platforms, and enterprise payment architectures.
- Familiarity with operational resilience frameworks, fintech governance standards, and infrastructure scalability methodologies.
- Strong leadership, technical problem-solving, and stakeholder coordination capabilities.
