Role Overview

This role is built for a senior fintech engineer whose professional identity is rooted in constructing and maintaining the core technical infrastructure that powers digital finance. Operating remotely while aligned with the UAE fintech environment, the position focuses on deep system design, performance engineering, and platform reliability.

The Lead Engineer will own how transaction systems are built, scaled, monitored, and evolved, with responsibility for architectural integrity rather than feature-level delivery.

Core Engineering Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-availability transaction processing systems supporting payments, transfers, and settlements

• Engineer API-driven integration layers enabling interoperability across fintech components

• Define system standards for latency, throughput, fault tolerance, and scalability

• Architect cloud-native infrastructures optimized for financial workloads and resilience

• Build observability frameworks for monitoring, alerting, and performance diagnostics

• Ensure security, reliability, and auditability are embedded directly into system design

Technical Scope

• Distributed systems and service-oriented architectures
