A high-growth digital finance platform is hiring a highly strategic Lead Fintech Full Stack Software Engineer – Lending & Embedded Finance Platforms to lead the development of next-generation lending products, embedded finance systems, and intelligent credit delivery platforms across regional financial ecosystems.

This role requires a technically strong software leader capable of building scalable lending architecture across customer onboarding, digital underwriting, BNPL systems, SME finance products, merchant credit platforms, collections infrastructure, and AI-powered financial decision engines.

The successful engineer will play a major role in transforming how consumers and businesses access capital—faster, smarter, and with significantly less friction than traditional banking models.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full-stack development across digital lending platforms, embedded finance systems, and next-generation credit products

• Build scalable frontend and backend architecture for customer onboarding, credit applications, underwriting workflows, and servicing operations

• Design secure APIs for partner integrations, embedded checkout finance, merchant lending systems, and alternative finance ecosystems

• Collaborate with product teams, credit risk specialists, compliance leaders, and DevOps engineers to deliver production-ready financial solutions

• Develop automation frameworks for loan approvals, repayment systems, servicing operations, and portfolio analytics

• Improve performance, security, and operational reliability across customer-facing lending applications and internal financial systems

• Strengthen data flow integrity, compliance controls, and lending workflow visibility across platform operations

• Support innovation involving AI-driven underwriting, alternative data scoring, and automated credit decisioning

• Lead technical architecture reviews and engineering best practices across development teams

• Mentor engineering teams while contributing to scalable technical leadership

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent technical qualification

• 6–10+ years of software engineering experience across fintech, digital banking, lending platforms, or financial products

• Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, Java, Python, Node.js, or modern cloud-native development frameworks

• Experience building financial applications involving lending, underwriting, payments, or embedded finance

• Strong knowledge of API architecture, security controls, cloud infrastructure, and modern software engineering standards

• Ability to lead complex engineering delivery across cross-functional fintech environments

• Excellent technical leadership and strategic problem-solving capabilities
