Lead Fintech Digital Banking Transformation & Product Engineering Manager

A rapidly evolving financial technology ecosystem in Oman is seeking a Lead Fintech Digital Banking Transformation & Product Engineering Manager to drive enterprise-wide modernization of digital banking platforms, customer financial experience systems, and next-generation fintech product infrastructures.

This role combines deep technical product engineering leadership with strategic fintech transformation oversight, focusing on building scalable, customer-centric, and API-driven financial ecosystems that redefine digital banking experiences across retail, SME, and enterprise markets.

The selected candidate will play a key role in shaping the evolution of digital banking services, embedded finance platforms, and intelligent financial product systems designed for long-term scalability and innovation.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead digital banking transformation initiatives across mobile banking, online banking, and API-driven financial platforms.
• Design and oversee engineering of fintech products including digital wallets, lending systems, payment platforms, and embedded financial services.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to build scalable microservices architectures for financial product ecosystems.
• Drive integration of AI-powered personalization systems into digital banking experiences.
• Oversee modernization of legacy banking systems into cloud-native fintech infrastructures.
• Define product engineering roadmaps aligned with fintech innovation strategies and customer experience goals.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity and compliance teams to ensure secure, regulatory-compliant digital banking systems.
• Analyze customer behavior and financial usage patterns to enhance product engagement and retention.
• Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, analysts, and fintech product specialists.
• Deliver executive-level product strategy reports and transformation roadmaps.

Professional Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Financial Technology, Business Administration, or Engineering.
• 8–14 years of experience in fintech product engineering, digital banking transformation, or financial systems development.
• Strong expertise in API banking, cloud infrastructure, microservices architecture, and fintech product design.
• Experience in digital payments, mobile banking systems, or embedded finance platforms.
• Strong understanding of software engineering lifecycle and financial system integration.
