A highly modern financial technology environment in Bahrain is searching for a Lead Fintech Core Banking Infrastructure & Real-Time Payments Engineering Manager to oversee enterprise banking technology modernization, real-time transaction infrastructures, and mission-critical payment systems engineering ecosystems.

This opportunity is designed for highly experienced fintech engineering professionals with strong expertise in core banking architectures, real-time payment technologies, enterprise financial infrastructures, and operational transaction resilience systems.

The selected candidate will contribute directly to strengthening enterprise digital banking operations through intelligent payment processing frameworks, cloud-native financial infrastructures, automated transaction orchestration systems, and scalable enterprise operational modernization initiatives.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise core banking modernization initiatives involving real-time payment ecosystems, intelligent transaction processing platforms, and operational infrastructure scalability frameworks.
• Design scalable banking infrastructures supporting high-volume payment processing, API-driven financial services, and enterprise transaction continuity systems.
• Collaborate with cloud engineers, fintech developers, cybersecurity specialists, and payment operations teams to strengthen enterprise financial ecosystems.
• Oversee implementation of intelligent transaction orchestration technologies improving payment speed, infrastructure reliability, and operational responsiveness.
• Develop governance standards supporting digital banking resilience, payment continuity, and enterprise financial operational integrity.
• Conduct enterprise infrastructure assessments relating to transaction throughput performance, payment ecosystem scalability, and operational optimization opportunities.
• Support fintech modernization projects involving distributed financial systems, AI-powered operational monitoring technologies, and cloud-native banking architectures.
• Prepare executive technical dashboards covering infrastructure performance metrics, transaction reliability indicators, operational analytics, and enterprise scalability frameworks.
• Coordinate with banking institutions, payment processors, and enterprise fintech partners regarding strategic banking modernization initiatives.
• Monitor emerging innovations involving real-time transaction technologies, intelligent payment ecosystems, and predictive operational infrastructure systems.
• Mentor enterprise engineering and operational teams while promoting technical excellence and fintech infrastructure innovation culture.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Cloud Computing, or related disciplines.
• 7–12 years of experience in fintech infrastructure engineering, core banking systems management, payment operations, or enterprise financial technology ecosystems.
• Strong expertise in real-time payment systems, distributed banking infrastructures, cloud-native operational ecosystems, and transaction orchestration technologies.
• Experience supporting enterprise digital banking platforms and mission-critical financial transaction environments.
• Familiarity with fintech governance standards, infrastructure resilience methodologies, and operational scalability frameworks.
• Strong technical leadership, analytical reasoning, and stakeholder coordination capabilities.
