Role Overview

This role is designed for a senior fintech technologist whose primary responsibility is architectural correctness and scalability of transaction-driven financial platforms. Fully remote and aligned with the UAE fintech environment, the Lead Architect focuses on how fintech systems are structured, integrated, and evolved to support high-volume, high-reliability digital finance use cases.

The role is deliberately hands-off operationally, emphasising architecture, standards, and long-term design decisions.

Core Responsibilities

• Architect transaction processing platforms with high availability and low latency

• Design end-to-end data flows ensuring consistency, traceability, and integrity

• Define system patterns for horizontal scalability and fault tolerance

• Establish interface and integration standards across fintech services

• Govern architectural changes through documented decision frameworks

• Anticipate future transaction growth and platform complexity

Technical Domains

• Transaction orchestration and processing engines

• Financial data pipelines and reconciliation mechanisms

• Platform interoperability and integration layers

• Performance modelling and capacity planning

• Architecture lifecycle and standards governance

Professional Requirements

• 12–18 years in fintech architecture, financial systems engineering, or platform design

• Strong systems-engineering and analytical mindset

• Experience designing high-throughput, transaction-heavy platforms

• Excellent technical documentation and reasoning ability

• Comfortable acting as final architectural authority
