A sophisticated financial technology ecosystem in Qatar is currently searching for a Lead Fintech API Banking & Financial Connectivity Solutions Manager to oversee enterprise banking integration ecosystems, API-driven transaction infrastructures, and intelligent financial connectivity platforms supporting modern digital finance services.

This opportunity is ideal for highly experienced fintech integration professionals with deep expertise in API banking ecosystems, payment interoperability frameworks, enterprise fintech connectivity solutions, and scalable digital transaction architectures.

The selected candidate will play a strategic role in shaping secure and resilient financial connectivity infrastructures enabling seamless interaction between banks, payment providers, merchant ecosystems, and enterprise digital financial platforms.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise API banking integration initiatives supporting digital payments, embedded financial services, and intelligent transaction ecosystems.
• Design scalable financial connectivity frameworks enabling secure communication between banking systems, payment gateways, fintech applications, and merchant platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, compliance, and operations teams to strengthen enterprise financial interoperability infrastructures.
• Oversee integration lifecycle management involving API onboarding, transaction validation, payment routing optimization, and operational scalability.
• Develop governance procedures supporting API security, transaction integrity, and fintech operational resilience.
• Support enterprise digital transformation projects involving open banking ecosystems, cloud-native financial services, and intelligent transaction architectures.
• Conduct infrastructure assessments focused on connectivity performance, transaction reliability, scalability optimization, and operational continuity.
• Monitor emerging innovations involving API finance, open banking technologies, and embedded transaction ecosystems.
• Prepare executive reports covering API ecosystem performance, financial integration metrics, transaction analytics, and operational efficiency indicators.
• Coordinate with banking institutions, payment service providers, and enterprise fintech partners regarding strategic connectivity initiatives.
• Mentor technical integration teams while promoting enterprise engineering excellence and operational governance standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Financial Technology, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.
• 7–12 years of experience in fintech integrations, API banking systems, payment connectivity ecosystems, or digital financial infrastructure environments.
• Strong expertise in RESTful APIs, banking integrations, payment gateways, cloud-native infrastructures, and enterprise fintech interoperability frameworks.
• Experience working with digital transaction ecosystems, financial middleware systems, and enterprise payment architectures.
• Familiarity with API security governance, fintech compliance standards, and operational risk management frameworks.
• Strong strategic planning, systems architecture, and executive communication capabilities.
