Executive Overview
A globally focused financial technology enterprise is seeking an accomplished Lead Financial Officer to oversee enterprise finance operations, financial governance, strategic planning, and organizational performance across a rapidly expanding fintech portfolio.
This leadership role requires an experienced finance professional capable of driving financial excellence, optimizing business performance, supporting executive decision-making, and ensuring the organization’s long-term financial sustainability. You will lead cross-functional initiatives while partnering with executive leadership to shape corporate strategy and operational growth.
Executive Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop enterprise-wide financial strategies aligned with long-term corporate objectives.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Advise executive leadership on financial performance and strategic investments.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and expansion initiatives where applicable.
Financial Governance
- Strengthen internal financial controls and governance frameworks.
- Oversee statutory reporting and audit readiness.
- Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and internal policies.
- Monitor financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Business Performance
- Evaluate profitability across products, business units, and regional operations.
- Develop executive dashboards and board-level financial reports.
- Drive finance transformation through automation and process improvement.
- Establish performance measurement frameworks and KPIs.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor high-performing finance teams.
- Partner with Technology, Product, Risk, Compliance, Treasury, and Commercial leadership.
- Promote operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Represent the finance function in executive committees and strategic planning sessions.
Executive Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- MBA, ACCA, CPA, CFA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, including leadership roles within fintech, banking, or financial services.
- Strong expertise in corporate finance, financial governance, and strategic planning.
- Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making capabilities.
