An award-winning fintech environment is seeking an accomplished Lead Digital Payments Software Developer to build sophisticated payment platforms supporting merchant acquiring, digital wallets, cross-border transactions, payment orchestration, and financial settlement systems.
This role offers the chance to work on enterprise-scale software handling mission-critical financial operations while contributing to the evolution of digital finance across international markets.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop secure payment processing applications.
- Build financial transaction routing services.
- Design payment orchestration platforms.
- Develop merchant integration APIs.
- Implement fraud prevention mechanisms.
- Optimize high-volume payment workflows.
- Ensure compliance with software security standards.
- Perform architecture reviews and technical leadership.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and cybersecurity teams.
- Mentor software engineers and drive engineering excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Software Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years of professional software development.
- Expertise in C#, Java, or Go.
- Experience with ASP.NET Core, Spring Boot, or Quarkus.
- Strong SQL and NoSQL database knowledge.
- Experience with message brokers and event-driven systems.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud deployment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
