Role Synopsis

The position of Lead Digital Banking Experience Architect is a design-forward fintech leadership role focused on crafting intelligent, seamless, and human-centric digital banking ecosystems for users across Oman.

This role transcends traditional UX or product design—it is about engineering end-to-end financial experiences where usability, technology, and financial logic converge into a unified digital journey.


Experience Architecture Mandate

You will design the structural blueprint of digital banking interactions, including:

  • Multi-channel user journeys across mobile, web, and embedded interfaces
  • Frictionless onboarding flows incorporating digital identity verification
  • Intelligent dashboards for financial insights and account management
  • Context-aware financial services tailored to user behavior

Core Responsibilities

1. Experience Design Strategy

  • Define holistic user experience frameworks for digital banking platforms
  • Align design decisions with financial product capabilities and constraints
  • Establish design systems ensuring consistency across all touchpoints

2. Interaction & Journey Engineering

  • Map complex financial processes into intuitive user flows
  • Reduce friction in payments, transfers, and account management
  • Introduce adaptive interfaces powered by user data and behavior

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering, product, and compliance teams
  • Ensure design feasibility within technical and regulatory boundaries

4. Continuous Experience Optimization

  • Analyze user behavior metrics and iterate on experience design
  • Conduct usability testing and implement data-driven improvements

Candidate Profile

  • Strong background in digital banking, fintech UX, or product design leadership
  • Ability to translate complex financial systems into intuitive user experiences
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and digital banking workflows
